Baby's First Prepared Environment
The Prepared Environment is the Montessori way of intentionally setting up a child's space so that the child can feel purposeful, capable and connected. Young children are constantly getting feedback from their surroundings. Preparing their space purposefully - free of excess and with a clear invitation for self-discovery is the cornerstone for practicing Montessori.
Baby's First Play
Montessori 'toys' is driven by consumerism and isn't always authentic to principles of the pedagogy. In this course, you will learn to look for certain qualities in the toys that will support a Montessori approach with baby's first play.
Baby's Milestones
Birth to 5 Months
During the period from birth to 5 months, your baby will be learning how to use their hands, their limbs and their body in a co-ordinated and purposeful way.
6 to 12 Months
The period from 6 to 12 months is an exciting time for your baby's development. This period can see babies developing from lying on their tummies or back, to 'cruising' around on two feet supported by furniture. They might even be walking!
12 to 17 Months
Children at this stage are more mobile and are able to walk with stability. Children now will be able to do more thins with their hands as they are now free from crawling. Children at this age would love to climb as they try to challenge their gross motor skills.

Montessori for Babies & Infants
Trainer
Ms. Ann Singhsachakul has more than 14 years of experiences in the education industry. Her teaching career began by being a piano teacher and an English instructor.
Blessed with a golden opportunity to work at an International Montessori kindergarten, she fell in love with the Montessori Method of Teaching.
She continues to spread the Montessori philosophy so that more children and families can benefit from the Montessori approach to human development.
She is fluent in English and Thai languages.
Experiences
Ann has worked extensively in a variety of Montessori settings: day care, pre-school and Montessori in the home.
Moreover, she has also enjoyed working in a play-based school following the EYFS curriculum and have experiences in a reggio-emilia classroom setting.
She currently conducts teacher training workshops for parents and teachers within South East Asia with a specialization in early childhood and Montessori Method of Education.
